Frequently Asked Questions

Click on the headings below to see some of the reasons why we feel we stand out above the competition.

+ Are you Reliable?
In the 10-years of providing Mobile Disco and DJ services, not one booking has been missed or cancelled. We always aim to arrive earlier than the stated setup time to account for traffic conditions and weather.
+ Do you play requests?
Yes! - we openly encourage you and your guests to request their favourite music and although we can't promise to play them all, we try our hardest to fit them in where we can.
+ How can I pay?
We accept payment via Cash or Cheque. If paying by cheque, we require payment a minimum of 10-days prior to the function in order to allow the funds to clear. Cash payments can be paid upfront or on the night of your function.
+ Who will be DJing my party?
All events are booked, managed and DJ'd by Matthew Deacon. You can rest assured that your special event won't simply be passed on to another company.
+ Do you do Karaoke?
At present we do not offer Karaoke.
+ My venue has asked about a Public Liability Insurance certificate, do you have one?
Indeed! - We have PLI to the value of £10m which should be satisfactory for the majority of venues. A copy of our certificate is available on request.
+ My event is in a marquee, can you accommodate this?
Certainly! Although we do have a few prerequisites which must be provided by the client such as a solid surface to setup the equipment on and an adequate isolated power supply for sole use by the DJ. Contact us for more information.
+ Is your equipment safe?
All of our equipment is regularly checked for signs of wear and damaged. Our equipment is also PAT (Portable Appliance Tested) annually ensuring the electrical safety of all our equipment.
+ I'm having a type of party which isn't listed on your site, can you help?
We can certainly try our best! - Contact us with your requirements and we'd be happy to try and accommodate your needs.
+ Why do I have to pay a Non-Refundable Booking Fee (NRBF)?
The NRBF acts as a safeguard for both client and DJ. The money acts to hold the requested date and confirm any booking made. Upon receipt of the booking fee a confirmation letter is issued acting as a contractual agreement that we'll show up for your event.
